A family owned and operated company, Label Press (QLD) first began its humble beginnings in the Brisbane inner suburb of Toowong. Label Press (QLD) began as Supreme Printing Company, started in 1980 by Founder Ben Hornbuckle, along with his Son’s Cecil and Arthur.
The business started in a small house on Sherwood Street Toowong that was converted into the factory that would soon become the go to supplier for labels in the fruit and veg industry. They outgrew the original location and moved to a property in Burke St, Woolloongabba. The Business soon outgrew its new premises, so the decision was made to demolish the current building and build bigger and better.
Label Press continued to grow over the coming years and again outgrew its location. Label press was relocated in June 2003 to Wacol, where we are still operating from today.
